Cash Payments:

In Africa, Moovn facilitates diverse payment options, including Credit, Debit, Mobile Money (such as M-Pesa and others], and Cash. I led the efforts in researching and mapping out Cash based transactions, prioritizing the safety of both drivers and passengers. These insights were instrumental in planning and designing several screens below, ensuring a secure and seamless experience for all users.

Mobile Payments:

After establishing alliances with Vodacom and Toyota, Moovn responded to the African demand to use electronic currencies such as M-Pesa. Identifying lucrative collaboration prospects in tourism and healthcare, we initiated the development of the Moovn Wallet. This versatile tool enables the acceptance and management of diverse local currency types across the continent. Upon completion, the Moovn Wallet achieved an 80% currency coverage of users across the African continent.

Passenger Booking Flows/Wires:

Moovn sets itself apart by enabling passengers to schedule rides in advance. Acknowledging that users often utilize multiple ridesharing apps, I prioritized addressing the cognitive load associated with switching between them. Balancing Moovn's distinct features and brand differentiation without overwhelming users with a new interface proved challenging. Through testing, I crafted a unique experience that maintained familiarity, ensuring a seamless transition for passengers without cognitive overload.

Updating the Brand:

Simultaneously refining crucial mobile user experiences and journeys, my responsibilities extended to revamping the mobile brand, visual design system, and language. Collaborating directly with development teams and junior designers in East Africa, India, and Eastern Europe, I ensured the seamless and high-quality implementation of these extensive updates.
